مديرية التنمية والبرامج الدولية في بلدية إربد الكبرى تطلق “مركز العمل المناخي” و”مختبر المدينة” بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للأرض .

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للأرض تحت شعار ” قوتنا، كوكبنا “، وفي إطار سلسلة المبادرات المناخية التي تنفذها مديرية التنمية والبرامج الدولية في بلدية إربد الكبرى، تعلن المديرية عن إطلاق “ مركز العمل المناخي لمدينة إربد ” و” مختبر المدينة ” .
ويهدف هذا المشروع الريادي إلى بناء الخطط وبلورة السياسات المحلية في مجالات التكيف والتخفيف من آثار التغير المناخي على مستوى البلدية ، إضافة إلى بناء القدرات الخضراء، وتعزيز الشراكات بين المؤسسات والقطاعات المختلفة، ونشر الوعي المناخي .
وتؤكد بلدية إربد الكبرى من خلال هذه المبادرة التزامها بدورها القيادي في دعم التحول نحو التنمية المستدامة، انسجاماً مع الأهداف الوطنية والدولية في مجال العمل المناخي.

The Directorate of Development and International Programs at Greater Irbid Municipality Launches the “Climate Action Center” and “City Lab” on the Occasion of Earth Day

On the occasion of Earth Day, under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet”, and as part of a series of climate initiatives implemented by the Directorate of Development and International Programs at Greater Irbid Municipality, the directorate announces the launch of the “Climate Action Center for the City of Irbid” and the “City Lab”.

This pioneering project aims to develop plans and shape local policies in the fields of climate change adaptation and mitigation at the municipal level. It also seeks to build green capacities, strengthen partnerships between various institutions and sectors, and raise climate awareness across the city.

Through this initiative, Greater Irbid Municipality reaffirms its leadership role in supporting the transition towards sustainable development, in alignment with national and international climate action goals
